Workshop Controller

Motorvogue is a forward-thinking multi-franchise group with locations in Northampton, Bedford, King’s Lynn and Norwich.

We are now looking to enhance our Aftersales team and are recruiting for a Workshop Controller at our Multi-Franchise site in King’s Lynn , home of Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, JEEP, Renault and Dacia.


About you

You will have:


  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Main Dealer experience (Desirable but not essential)
  • An ability to be highly organised and able to prioritise workloads
  • A positive attitude at all times and always lead by example

The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Maximise workshop efficiency using the resources & people effectively in order to ensure a consistently high level of productivity
  • Work effectively with the brands we represent to ensure industry leading standards of customer care and satisfaction are achieved and maintained at all times, whilst building customer retention.
  • Determine availability of workshop hours daily and liaise frequently with the Service Reception regarding workshop capacity
  • Maintain progress information for each job allocated ensure the Service Reception team are fully aware in order that customers are kept informed
  • Handle any customer complaints in an efficient and effective way
  • Work with the Aftersales Manager to ensure a smooth running of the dealership
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all department administration and operational data complying at all times with standards and dealership reporting policies.
  • Ensure all employment, FCA, environmental, Health and Safety, GDPR and Trading Standards policies and practices and statutory legislation are strictly adhered to.
