Up to 385 mile range

Combining performance with innovative electric vehicle technology – this large SUV delivers a driving range of up to 385 miles. The Long-Range RWD model is powered by a 160 kW rear motor, the Long-Range AWD alternative with a 66 kW front motor and 160 kW rear motor. The Performance AWD version is equipped with 157 kW motors front and rear.

IONIQ 9 makes charging convenient, replenishing the battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes using a 350 kW charger. Plus, the vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability and versatile 400V/800V multi-charging flexibility make EV life easier than ever.

Up to 7 seats

The IONIQ 9 offers unparalleled flexibility with multiple seating layouts designed for comfort and connectivity:

• Three-row capacity, seating up to seven. Alternatively, choose a six-seater layout with second-row swivel “Relaxation Seats” that can fully recline, offering leg rests and massage functionality via the Dynamic Body Care system.
• Panoramic Sunroof floods the cabin with natural light, while elliptical design cues and ambient lighting (with 64 colour options) create a serene, lounge-like atmosphere.
• A slidable Universal Island 2.0 console (190 mm travel) makes the cabin more accessible, providing walk-through convenience and dual-access armrests with integrated storage.

These configurations let occupants connect socially (face-to-face conversations when stationary with swivel seats), rest in comfort during charging breaks, or optimise space when carrying cargo. IONIQ 9 gives you enough roominess to get everyone together, offering generous 2nd and 3rd row headroom and legroom for more comfort and an exceptional experience on the road.

• With all three rows upright, the boot offers 620 litres of space
• The boot can hold up to 908 litres with the third row folded, ideal for family travel
• Fold down the 2nd and 3rd rows to unlock a massive 2,419 litres of cargo space
• Depending on drive layout, the frunk provides an additional 52–88 litres of secure storage

At the front, a bold horizontal LED light bar and high-mounted daytime running lights (DRLs) accentuate the vehicle's wide stance, while intricately designed accents add depth and dimension.

A single, curved roofline flows to the rear, creating a clean, aerodynamic "boat-tail" silhouette. It not only looks elegant but also enhances airflow, helping achieve a class-leading drag coefficient of just 0.259 Cd when equipped with digital side mirrors.

The tapered rear, enhanced by pixel-fused LED tail lamps and a rising lower body line give the silhouette a sleek, dynamic flair.
