The revolutionary Hyundai IONIQ 5 is the first car built on a new dedicated E-GMP battery electric vehicle platform, the IONIQ 5 doesn’t just herald a new era for Electric Vehicle design, but for performance and capability.
IONIQ 5 is fully electric and rich in eco-friendly materials, including those extracted from sugar cane, meaning it’s both desirable and sustainable. Able to charge from 10%-80% in just 18 minutes, accelerate from 0-62mph in as little as 5.2 seconds and travel up to 298 miles on a single charge, with IONIQ 5 there are no compromises.
E-GMP provides IONIQ 5 flexibility in powertrain options, with the choice of three battery and drive types; a 58 kWh rear wheel drive, a 73 kWh rear wheel drive, or a 73 kWh all-wheel drive. IONIQ 5 features 800V charging as standard, which when combined with a 350 kW ultra-rapid charger will provide 80% charge in just 18 minutes and 62 miles of driving range in five minutes.

The clean lines and minimalist structure of the IONIQ 5, enhances its high tech look, which includes a unique clamshell hood spanning the entire width of the car. The LED lighting showcases its signature jewel-like Parametric Pixels design element.
The new dedicated vehicle platform of the IONIQ 5 provides unique proportions and an elongated wheelbase offering a whole new in-car experience. The interior has been designed with space and flexibility in mind - from front seats that can be fully reclined, to the sliding center console that can be moved back and forth to accommodate space and provide access to extra storage and USB ports. Inside the car you will find environmentally friendly materials are used throughout, from the carpet and roof liner to the seat covers and door panel inserts. Materials include eco-processed leather, yarn made from crushed recycled PET bottles and raw materials extracted from sugar cane - all of which are durable, look great and add to the premium feel.

Depending on your grid connection at home or the type of charging station you have access to, the IONIQ 5 gives you a range of flexible charging possibilities. Equipped with an innovative 800V battery system for some of the fastest charging times possible today, it is also compatible for 400V charging and AC charging.

The IONIQ 5 Premium 58kWh rear wheel
drive builds on the SE Connect trim by adding a 4 way power driver’s seat,
heated driver and front passenger seats and steering wheel, auto dimming rear
view mirror, dual LED projector headlamps, power tailgate, chrome side
moulding, Highway Drive Assist Level 2 (HDA II) with automatic lane change
function, Forward Collision Assist with Junction function (FCA JX) and
Blindspot Collision Avoidance assist (BCA). Premium trim also offers customers
the optional Vehicle 2 Load pack (V2L). The V2L function allows customers to
freely use or charge any electric devices, suppling up to 3.6 kW of power.
Using a converter, customers can charge high-power electric equipment, consumer
electronics or even charge another electric vehicle. The IONIQ 5 Premium is
also available with the 73kWh battery in rear wheel and all- wheel drive.

The IONIQ 5 Ultimate 58kWh rear wheel drive completes the IONIQ range with a high specification including leather seat coverings, solar and privacy glass, chrome door garnish, black gloss beltline, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, BOSE premium sound system, head up display with augmented reality, standard Vehicle 2 Load (V2L), sliding centre console and alloy pedals. Customers can also specify the Eco Pack which comprises Battery Heating system and Heat Pump and the Tech Pack with Front Memory Seats, Relaxation Premium Seats, BVM (Blind View Monitor), PCA ( Parking Collision Avoidance Assist - Reverse), RSPA (Remote Smart Parking Assist), SVM ( Surround View Monitor). The Ultimate specification is also available with the 73kWh battery in rear wheel and all- wheel drive, both of which upgrade to 20” alloy wheels.
