Regional Management Accountant

Location: Bedford

Salary: £50,000 basic (OTE £60,000) + Company Car

Motorvogue is a forward-thinking and growing automotive retail group representing a wide range of leading brands across six locations. Our franchises include Fiat, Fiat Professional, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, CUPRA, SEAT, Hyundai, Citroën, Peugeot, Omoda and Jaecoo, with dealerships in Northampton, Bedford, King’s Lynn, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds. Our sixth site opened in Dunstable in April 2024, reflecting our continued growth and development.

We are now seeking an experienced Regional Management Accountant to join our team, based at our multi-franchise site in Bedford.You will be responsible for our Bedford, Northampton and Dunstable sites.

This role would suit someone who is currently producing or assisting with Management Accounts and is looking to develop their career within a growing multi-brand dealer group. Experience within the motor industry and with Keyloop (Drive) would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely Management Accounts in line with company accounting procedures and reporting deadlines
• Work closely with Brand and Departmental Managers to support forecasting, ensuring accuracy and helping them understand their financial performance
• Monitor and manage vehicle debtors on a daily basis, ensuring all payments comply with company policies
• Produce ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for the Managing Director, Group Financial Controller and other senior managers
• Provide financial insight to support departmental performance and decision-making

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a small team
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with managers across the business
• Strong Excel skills and a high level of financial accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience within motor retail and/or Keyloop systems would be beneficial
• Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are preferred but not essential.
