Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm | Occasional Saturdays (up to 5 per year)

Our busy multi-brand dealership in Norwich is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Aftersales Manager to help lead and grow our dynamic Aftersales team.


About the Role

Working with prestigious brands including Hyundai, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Abarth and JEEP, you will report directly to the Aftersales Manager. You'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of our Aftersales department. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the workshop, service advisors, and parts team—ensuring that we consistently deliver exceptional service and meet our performance goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the day-to-day running of the Aftersales department across workshop, service, and parts
  • Supporting the Aftersales Manager in achieving departmental targets, KPIs, and profitability goals
  • Driving outstanding levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery
  • Coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members to perform at their best
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies (FCA, GDPR, Health & Safety, etc.)
  • Resolving customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Promoting customer retention through effective relationship management
  • Ensuring all departmental administration is completed accurately and on time

About You

We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and driving results. You’ll be confident, organised, and a natural leader who can inspire a team to excel.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience managing a busy Aftersales department
  • Experience working in a Main Dealer environment (highly desirable)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to lead by example
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • A good understanding of manufacturer standards, processes, and systems

  • Competitive salary: £38,000 – £40,000 basic + performance bonus (OTE £48-£50,000)
  • Working hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am–6:00pm), with a maximum of 5 Saturdays per year
