The Motability Scheme is built to keep people moving: it lets eligible customers exchange their mobility allowance for an all-inclusive lease that covers insurance, vehicle tax and breakdown support.

To be eligible to join the Motability Scheme, you need to receive one of the following mobility allowances and you must have at least 12 months’ award length remaining.

Wide Range of Vehicles

cost when fitted at the start of your lease.
Insurance
Fully comprehensive insurance for up to 60,000 miles allowance over 3 years.
Up to 3 named drivers can use the vehicle. This does not mean that the disabled person needs to be in the car for every journey. In practice, this means other named drivers in the household can use the car for shopping and other routine activities, as long as the disabled customer will benefit.
Servicing and Maintenance
The vehicles routine servicing and maintenance needs are covered including replacement tyres, window / windscreen repair or replacement, and the vehicles annual car tax.
Breakdown cover
RAC cover is included so you can travel with peace of mind.

Can adaptions be fitted?
There are generally three different categories of adaptations available.
Driving adaptations: These help to improve your driving experience by providing assistance with speed control, steering and signalling for example. They can vary from simple attachments to replacing existing controls.
Stowage adaptations: These allow you to store and transport your scooter or wheelchair with the assistance of stowage systems such as a boot hoist, operated by the simple touch of a button.
Access adaptations: These help you to get in and out of the car and can include features such as swivel seats, transfer plates and electric person hoists.
