Our new Hyundai showroom is set to open in Dunstable this April, with showroom space to display eight brand new Hyundai models and a forecourt for up to 80 Hyundai Promise approved used vehicles. Whether buying new or Promise approved used, all benefit from Hyundai’s industry-leading five-year warranty. The Bedfordshire-based site is the sixth from Motorvogue, and represents our first standalone facility, as opposed to a multi-franchise site.
In addition to its car displays the new state-of-the-art site has nine servicing bays and an MoT station, plus parking for up to 60 vehicles. The dealership will also feature a Hyundai Business Centre, where fleet customers will receive advice on purchasing and aftercare from dedicated advisers.
Dunstable joins our existing facilities in Northampton, Bedford, King’s Lynn, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds. These currently play host to 31 different sales operations, and by mid-2024, this will rise to 34 with the opening of Hyundai Dunstable as well as a new Jeep outlet in Northampton and a Citroen facility in King’s Lynn.
The new showroom is conveniently located at 172-180 High Street, the main road into Dunstable, and is ideally placed to serve customers in south Bedfordshire and beyond following the closure of Perrys Luton Hyundai late last year.
Business will get under way when the showroom officially opens its doors for the first time on Monday 15 April, with a special celebration event planned for the weekend of Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April. The opening dates coincide with the launch of the IONIQ 5 N, the first real driver-focused electric performance car, developed from the triple World Car of the Year-winning IONIQ 5.
As Motorvogue’s first single-branded site, Dunstable constitutes a significant landmark for the group, underlining its confidence in the Hyundai brand.
A number of key employees are moving to the showroom from elsewhere in the business, while Motorvogue is also keen to add new staff and has embarked on a recruitment process. As a business that prioritises employee welfare, it will welcome applications from those interested in working at the new dealership.
The Dunstable showroom will be open from 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday for sales, and 8.30am to 5.30pm on Saturdays. The service department will open from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Mondays to Fridays.
