SEAT and Shakira have a collaboration agreement which sees the sporty Spanish car manufacturer sponsor the star’s European tour, produced by Live Nation.
Hot on the heels of her starring role at the World Cup kick-off
concert and recent Glastonbury Festival appearance global pop
sensation Shakira has announced details of the European leg of her
2010 world tour, sponsored by SEAT.
A dizzying schedule of European dates throughout November and
December this year will see the Colombian singer perform all over
the Continent, with dates confirmed in - among many other cities -
Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Lisbon and Barcelona.
And the great news for her British fans is that the Grammy
award-winning singer/songwriter has a cluster of UK concerts lined
up. She'll be visiting the MEN Arena Manchester on 14 December; the
Odyssey Arena, Belfast on 17 December and the SECC, Glasgow on 19
December. The finale of the European tour is set to be London's O2
Arena on 20 December.
Shakira will perform songs from her collection of smash hits
including Waka Waka, She Wolf, La Tortura and the hit single Hips
Don't Lie which was No 1 in 55 countries and reached No 1 on the US
Billboard Hot 100 to become the most-played song in the history of
US pop radio.
There will also be a sneak preview of songs from her new album
Sale El Sol, which is due for release this autumn.

distinguished ambassador for SEAT throughout the tour.
Additionally, SEAT is supporting Shakira's Barefoot Foundation
charity in its efforts to deliver universal education.
SEAT is also celebrating its partnership with the Colombian pop
sensation with the recent debut in UK showrooms of a special
edition SEAT Ibiza Good Stuff. It is based on the popular Ibiza 1.4
SE, available in both practical 5dr and sporty SC bodystyles, and
boasts a sparkling array of neat extras for its bargain £12,300 RRP
(£12,710 RRP for the 5dr).
The car's name is taken from one of the tracks on Shakira's
latest album, She Wolf, and reflects SEAT's ongoing association
with the singer.
Tickets for Shakira's tour go on sale in selected markets from 2
July, while Shakira Fan Club members have exclusive access to
presale tickets now.
